WORLD OF FICTION

Rodney senses Indians along the creek. ... Well
alright its just the camera guy but this is fiction isn't it?

THE AGGELO SERIES

I am developing a series with the character of Aggelo and a number of people who he helps. I have also introduced another character Lee Brannon who is a Texas Ranger. The two of them will be in numerous episodes together.
I recently finished My Friend Aggelo. This is the first of the series brings to life the character of Aggelo. The sequel entitled, The Kids Are Alive.
I also have a sequal to the McNally series in works entitled, Gone to Virginia.
My Friend AggeloMy Friend Aggelo, introduces a new character. Lee Brannan is a Texas Ranger and contemporary of Pete McNally. Lee is assigned the task to go to the Frio river area near Goliad , and search out a notorious outlaw named Jack Short. Jack is a preacher's boy that has gone astray. He has chosen to live outside the law because of the hideous murder of his parents and immediate family. The preacher's kid finds himself struggling with his father's faith and burning disillusionment with the world. Lee is joined in the pursuit by an unusual character named Aggelo who adds a very significant difference in the quest. The final chapter is an unusual twist on the protagonist/antagonist confrontation. Jack Short must face the judgment of his creator and Texas.

I hope you enjoy reading the stories and discover in the process a renewed interest in the old west. Help keep the oral tradition alive.

Keep the Peace,
Cliff

GOALS: This year I am working hard at getting my finished work placed in a publishing house. The first two I had done through a POD program and it was a very good experience. I chose this approach because it allowed me to get into print without an astronomical cost and it also presented a form of discipline in which I had to meet deadlines and finish.I have encountered all the doors that every author faces. If you have not been published it is hard to get into the publishing field. Choosing the western fiction field is also hard and when you chose not to include lewed scenes, it is even harder. I write from my heritage and do not want to embarrass my granddaughters by something I have written.
